Abstract

First aim of this paper is to describe a model – soundly founded on field literature – able to comprehend and articulate inside itself three different elements: digital competence definition, the learning activities useful to develop those competences, an evaulation system.
A second objective of the present paper is to present the “history” of digital competence concept and descriptions (related to the educational field) both at political and scientific level.
These previous elements may be useful to develop a certification process to assess and certificate the digital competences acquired by students engaged in innovative learning activities.
