Oltre la retorica della partecipazione: i giovani e le nuove forme dell’agire politico

Abstract

La partecipazione delle giovani generazioni è, oggi, al centro delle politiche internazionali, che diffusamente sottolineano il ruolo fondamentale delle nuove generazioni per lo sviluppo di società più giuste e sostenibili. Al tempo stesso, però, da più parti vengono descritti processi di apparente disaffezione dai processi democratici più tradizionali da parte dei più giovani, i quali sembrano alla ricerca di forme di partecipazione alternative. La riflessione qui proposta è volta ad interrogare le forme di partecipazione dei giovani, proponendo di considerarle come risorsa per la formazione diffusa della società, nella prospettiva di una pedagogia pubblica (Biesta, 2012), suggerendo alle istituzioni di lasciarsi interrogare da quanto sta avvenendo.
